EVELEIGH FARMERS’ MARKET

Sydney has a brand new undercover market which opened its doors on 28 Feb. 09 (www.eveleighmarket.com.au). It is located in a heritage listed building, ajacent to Carriage Works (243 Wilson Sreet, Darlington NSW).
I tried it the other day and I have to admit that it is really cool. I think it is Sydney’s new fine market. It’s got a very different feel to other Sydney markets (maybe because it is in a really nice heritage listed building). It isn’t massively big but it has got lots of high quality stalls.
There are nice bread stalls including iggy’s bread of world (www.iggysbread.com), Sonoma Artisan Sourdough Bakers (www.sonoma.com.au), fine meat and cheese retailers and distributors (www.affineur.com.au , owned by Melinda Dimitriades), artisan florists, coffee baristas (www.tobysestate.com.au), and much more…

But food stalls aren’t the only things that make this market wonderful. There are also Artisans who display their very cool and innovative ideas. Can’t tell you too much… go and check it out ! This market is open every Saturday morning from 8am to 1pm.
P.S. If you happen to visit it, please let me know what you think !!!
